Albert R. Mai, Sr.

Born and raised in Largo, he is survived by his loving and caring wife of 65 years, Lorene and 3 children, Robbie, Vicki Dobson (Barry), Kathy Slama (John), 5 grandchildren; Brandon (Megan), Katie (Ryan), JB (Izabela), Austin (Aly), Alexis, 4 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Edna Rawley, Cora Walker and many nieces and nephews.

Albert retired from the Pinellas County Water System in 1987 after 32 years as “Chief Meter Reader”. He was the first meter reader hired by the water system. After retirement he worked part time for over 16 years for Michels Pharmacy in Belleair Bluffs. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard and he was a dedicated member of the Church of God.

Services will be held at a later date due to the Coronavirus Pandemic as the family would love to have all their extended family and friends join in Albert’s Celebration of Life when it’s safe for everyone. Thank you all for your understanding.
