She was the oldest child of Floyd Grossman and Mary Bertha Smith. She married Charles Edwin Welsh Sr. in 1959, and they raised two sons. The family moved to Pinellas County Florida in the 1980s, where she worked as a registered nurse at Morton Plant Hospital as a respected ICU nurse supervisor and later at Suncoast Hospital.
Alice was beloved by her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her sons, Charles Welsh Jr, and Mark Welsh, Largo, FL; a sister, Bertha Pauline “Polly” Stone; grandson, Ian Welsh and his wife, Jessica, Largo, FL; granddaughters, Cassy Welsh and Chrissy Hess, Beaver Falls, PA; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Welsh Sr; brother, William R Grossman; and grandson, Charles E Welsh III.
