I met Ms Ann through work at Harbor Crest as a landscaper and maintenance. .. . I am sorry I did not attend funeral but heard through grape vine. .. . She was a remarkable woman. .. .I will always have the thought of her in lawn chair sun bathing. .. .she would see me work around her complex and give me a water to help me. . .. and a beer after I was done with day .. .. she had grapefruit n other things she would buy for me. .. .luv her dearly. .. .a mother while I worked at Harbor Crest for me. .. . again I missed funeral service.  .I go to college to become an RN, I work at Morton Plant in Cardiac Surgery/ICU unit to service those like Ann and my own mother that passed in 2010 (cardiac problems). .. . God Bless Ann .. she will also be an awesome woman in my thoughts. .. .I feel her spirit. .. pushing me on for duties towards others to serve my medical career and push on in education and patient care (especially in lungs and cardiac care);  again she will be another reason to push on . .I wish she was with me at Morton Plant so I could take care of her.

I met Anna through friends, what I remember of;  Anna would be there for you.  Very lovely lady.  Anna and I watch Young an Restless a soap opera, we watch the Ray's together. On Saturdays' we would together to Europa's for breakfast,  Anna would order dippy eggs with corn beef hash one of her favorites. She started getting sick one year ago, had to move in with Debra. I missed so much and I will see you heaven some day. Love

Words cannot express the joy you brought to me and my family! So honored to have been your friend, adopted daughter and nurse. You are an angel to all left behind. Taking comfort in memories and the knowledge that you are whole again and at peace. Every time I watch and root for the Rays, you will be with me!

While no one is ever really ready for the heartache that ensues from the death of a loved one, we can at least take comfort in knowing that Ann is now at peace. She was a true warrior inside and out. And for all of her suffering, death may be the greatest of all human blessings. She will live in our hearts forever. Goodbye my sweet sister. Thank you for all the joy you brought to my heart in childhood and throughout our lives. We'll be seeing you in heaven. Karen and Deb, My Aunt Nancy told us of the passing of your Mom. I always remember the fun times I had as a child coming up to your house to stay. You are in the thoughts of my Dad, Mom and myself.

My name is Bob Barbush and I am 71 years old. I am the Grandson of Ella and Daniel Barbush and Son of Alfred Barbush. I want to offer my deepest sympathy on the passing of Ann as I remember her while growing up on Chestnut Street in Harrisburg when she and Aunt Edith would come and visit my Grandmother Ella at their Bar called the Bollinger Hotel. Ann was a wonderful Lady in every respect I know that God has a place for her and God bless the rest of her family.

Mamaw.....sorry you had to go....but I know you're finally at peace and are happy. You were such a wonderful woman who was ALWAYS so sweet and positive, and would put anybody before yourself. You brightened everyones day with your smile. You're last words to me were "I love you too hunnie, thank you." I'll never forget that night and I'll cherish the photos I took as well. Debbie, Dick and I love you with all our hearts. Rest easy up there and be sure to look after all of us......as I know you already are! See you later! Xoxoxo

I knew Anna for a short amount of time, however, from day one she and her family made me feel as if I had been a part of the family for a life time. Anna allowed me the privilege of referring to her as "Momma" so from day one, that is what I always called her. Momma also made my son, Michael, a part of her family. She would ask me every single time I saw her how Michael was and when would she be able to see him again. Momma loved with all her heart and never treated or spoke of anyone with ill will. Michael and I will miss her beautiful smile and wonderful personality. We know that she has gone to a beautiful place and will no longer know pain. We will cherish our time with Momma and look forward to the day that we will be with her once again. To Deb I just need to say LOVE AND LIGHT to you my dear friend. You will always be considered my sister and I will stand with you for as long as we walk this earth, I love you!

Ann, you were at a lot of my family get togethers and parties so I got to know you and spend time; the fleamarket trips, the little treats you made sure you sent my way during my cancer treatment days really meant a lot..You were part of each day with a wave and smile..Your laughter, kindness and thoughtful ways are missed. Peace be yours in Heaven with the Lord.

From the minute I met Mamaw I liked her.. She was in her early 80's dating a guy in his late 60's who drove a corvette:) she Never would tell him her age:)))) Bradley loved her dog T Bo .. He loved it when Mamaw would tell him to "sit" and he did... T Bo listened very well to Mamaw Bradley told me cuz he was a statue:))))) he will miss her!
