Christel J Strautmann

Age 99, of Indian Rocks Beach, passed away July 26, 2016 at Morton Plant (Hospice). She was originally from St. Louis Missouri. She married her husband Leonard Strautmann on April 23,1949. She worked for the Federal Reserve in St. Louis for 11 years. Christel was an only child and a mother of eight children. In 1973, her and her husband moved the family to Largo Florida. She also worked for Pinellas County Schools for 11 years. She has 7 survivors being Richard Strautmann of Largo (married to Cathy), Linda Strautmann of Indian Rocks Beach, Larry Strautmann of Indian Rocks Beach, Daniel Strautmann of St. Louis (deceased), Steven Strautmann of Largo, Joe Strautmann of Palm Harbor, Judy Misura of Largo (married to Mark Misura), Joan Dias of Largo (married to Alan Dias). The grandchildren: Joe Strautmann, Sarah Strautmann, Elise Tippen, Erin Greeley, Tegan Strautmann, Katrina Moore, Terresa Strautmann, Beverly Muldoon, Dawn Dias, Michael Dias, Danielle Dias, Christine Dias, Serena Dias, Cory Misura.

Great- Grandchildren: Maddison, Blake, Daniel, Ireland, Leonard, Rome, Enzo, Bentley and Emma. A celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 31, at Serenity Funeral Home 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, will receive friends and family from 4:00-7:00 pm. Monday will be the funeral mass at 11:00 am at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church on Hamlin Blvd. in Largo.
