Dennis Francis Reardon

Dennis F. Reardon, 73, of Indian Rocks Beach, FL, died on September 09, 2016. He was born in Springfield, MA on July 13, 1943 to Joseph D. and Sheila K. Smith Reardon. Dennis retired as a sales manager for Jim Beam Brands Company and moved to FL from East Longmeadow, MA in 1980. He was in the US Army Reserves from 1963 to 1969 and was an Honorary Member of the 101st Airborne Division. Dennis was a member of the Clearwater Yacht Club, Knights of Columbus, and held memberships to several Catholic religious associations. He was also a faithful member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Largo, FL. Dennis was preceded in death by his stepson, Richard M. Rhicard, who passed away in 2013. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, who was his girlfriend from the 3rd grade, Susan M. Steup Reardon. He is also survived by son, Dennis F. Reardon, Jr. and his wife, Cristina, of Somers, CT; two brothers; Dan Reardon, and his wife, Cindy, of Marietta, GA; and David Reardon, and his wife, Carol, of Kennesaw, GA; sister, Sheila McNamara, and her husband, Bill, of East Aurora, NY; and grandchildren, Joseph, Jamieson, and Jackson, whom he loved dearly; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial mass, officiated by Father Tom Morgan and Father Jerome Massimino, will be held at St. Jerome Catholic Church on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11am. Private inurnment with military honors will be held at a later date at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers and in loving memory of Dennis F. Reardon, please consider making a monetary donation to the Military Prayer Plaque at St. Jerome Catholic Church, for all the men and women who are actively serving our country in harm’s way.
