Dennis Franklin Snyder, 69, of Largo, FL, passed away at home on October 26, 2015, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Frederick, MD to Roy Franklin Snyder and Juanita Rae Mick Snyder. Dennis was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country proudly in Vietnam. An avid hunter and fisherman, he previously held the job title of Big Game Tour Guide in the states of Alaska, Colorado, and Wyoming. He was also a huge fan of Nascar and Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Dennis was a member of the American Legion Post 273, The American Veterans of FL and the Elks in Maryland. He was predeceased by son, Clinton Franklin Snyder. Dennis is survived by loving wife, Linda and stepson, Shane. His wishes were to be cremated and his final resting place will be at his mountain property in Maryland. A memorial service will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org. Serenity Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
