Together they had three children, Michael, Robert and Lynne. She was blessed with four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Jim and Dolores moved to Largo in 1959 where they were instrumental with the development and success of Suncoast Hospital. Dolores touched the lives of many through her work with the Abilities Foundation, Head Start, American Cancer Society and PARC. She was an active and devoted member of St. Jerome’s Catholic Church. Dolores was a loving wife, mother and a selfless, loyal friend. She was a dedicated grandmother lovingly called “Nanny.”
She was graced with a deeply profound faith and freely expressed her gratitude for everyone she met. She was a firm believer that “gratitude should go forward, rather than backward.” Dolores humbly dedicated her life to providing loving guidance and wisdom to those in need. It was never about her…It was always about you. Her smile had a brilliance that will last a lifetime.
She was truly as gracious in death as she was in life.
