Donald Ball, 78, of Clearwater, FL, passed away on November 12, 2020. He was born in Miami, Florida to Hebert and Anne Ball, making him a 4th generation Floridian. Don was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Don graduated from Florida State University, where he met his wife of 49 years, Janey Cubbon and earned a bachelors degree in education. Don and Janey went on to have 3 children, Laurie, Dan, and Chris. Don was a lifetime member of the NRA, an avid gun collector for over 50 years, a historian, a local Boy Scout Executive, an environmentalist and a teacher. He passed his knowledge about arrowheads, mangroves and antiques on to those he loved. He believed in treating people fairly and was a very generous and kind man.
Don is survived by his uncle, Frank Brockett; brother, James Ball; his children, Laurie Cottrell, Dan Ball, Chris Ball; his grandchildren, Raven, Summer, Catherine, Emily, River, and great-granddaughter Ava.
