MCKEE, Donald , 81, of Largo, FL, passed away Aug. 16, 2012. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 14, 1931 to Joseph and Elsie (Schmieder) McKee. Before retirement, Don was a managing supervisor of the NY Tracon Air Traffic Control Center. He served his country proudly during the Korean War with the US Navy. His family and traveling were his greatest passions. Don is survived by his wife, Rita (Dechon) of 57 years; sons, Kevin (Debbie) and Steve (Karen); daughter, Donna (Michael) Mole; grandchildren, Shana, Brian, Kaitlin and Tyler; sister, Virginia Donahue and sister in law, Marie Dechon.
