

Breuning, Doris I. 85 of Seminole died Wed. Nov. 9, 2011 at Woodside Hospice House. Born Nov. 8, 1926 in Alhambra, California she was the daughter of Francis and Irene Peckham VanLohn. Doris had a Bachelors Degree from UCLA and a Masters Degree from U.S.F. Tampa. She was an educator and a reading diagnostician. She was a member of the Anona United Methodist Church and very active in the music ministry. Doris was also a member of The Pinellas County College Fund Board. She was married to the late Walter J. Musgrove for 35 years; he died Dec. 20, 1984. She married her second husband the late William H. Breuning Dec. 26, 1990; he died Oct. 1, 2011. Doris is survived by her sons Glenn Jason (Ann) Musgrove of Ft. Lauderdale and Martin Hilary (Elenita) Musgrove of Bradenton, three daughters Regan Ann (Sharon) Musgrove of Pinellas Park, Barbara (Jack) Brown of San Antonio, Fl., and Virginia (Ed) Mihalak of Herdon, Virginia; grandchildren Katie (Ken) Swan, Becca Musgrove, Zack Musgrove, Max Musgrove, Nina Musgrove, Maria Musgrove, Fred (Michelle) Scherger, Cyndi (Chris) Siegle, Susan Mihalak and Jake (Carla) Mihalak, and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Breuning was predeceased by her two brothers Frank VanLohn and William VanLohn. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Monday, November 14 at The Anona United Methodist Church. There will be no calling hours. Cremains will be buried at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park at a later date. Arrangements are by the Moss Feaster – Serenity Gardens Chapel, Largo.
