

Doug was born on August 20, 1943, in Utica, New York, to Frank and Bertha Dingle. He later graduated from Boca Ciega High School and went on to serve his country with pride in the United States Army, where he built a distinguished career spanning 30 years.
Doug was a devoted husband and father. He shared 50 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Ann C. Dingle, whom he married on November 6, 1965, and with whom he raised their four children until her passing. He later found happiness again and was married to Mary Coletti until her passing in 2024.
Throughout his life, Doug was proud of his faith and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He had a deep passion for classic cars and was especially proud of his Ford Falcon, which he enjoyed restoring. Doug was also an enthusiastic fan of the Florida Gators and had a special admiration for wolves and eagles.
Doug will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the pride he took in the things he loved.
He is survived by his children: Denise Ann Dingle, Michael Dingle, David Dingle (Diane), and James Dingle (Kusuma). He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Christopher, Dallas, Dylan, Chelise, Sean, Eric, Elena, Bettina, and Marissa.
Doug’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
