McCoy, Harold A, 91 peacefully passed away November 23 under the care of Regional Hospice in Hudson, Fl. after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his wife Grace. They were married 55 years. Harold was retired from Safeway Stores after 40 years of service. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of the Masonic Lodge of Council Bluffs, Iowa, During the 1950s served on civic committees and was President of the West End Improvement Club of Council Bluffs, IA. He was a realest investor and truly could fix or build anything, a self-made man. His reputation was always one of kindness, honesty and good humor. During his later years his enjoyment was fishing and just looking at the Gulf of Mexico. He is survived by his only daughter Bonnie Kiernan and her husband Tom of Hudson, Fl. Three grandsons Michael, Timothy, Brian Humlicek, step-grandson Tom Kiernan Jr., step grand-daughter Nancy Miller and five great grandchildren, one sister Joy Chevalier and her husband Ed of Council Bluffs. His final resting place is Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, Largo. A private celebration of his life with family and close friends will follow at a later date
