Died peacefully at home on March 29, 2010 after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Jo; sons, Scott (Natalie) and Ian (Andrea); and brother, Glen (Gail).
A graduate of Carleton and Queens, he commanded the SD&G Highlanders, was director of the National Transportation Agency, managed Custom House, and recently retired from the US Census. He was a member of Calvary Episcopal IRB, Canadian Legion Post 144, and had his first hole in one on August 22, 2009.
Viewing Friday, April 2 from 2-6pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home with Funeral Service Saturday, April 3 at 1pm at Calvary Episcopal Church.

Burial will take place May 29, 2010 at 10:30 am at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Anyone interested in attending should meet at the main office at 10:00 am. A light reception will follow.
