INGERSOLL, James H Sr. age 93 of Largo died November 14, 2011 at his home. He was born in Galesburg IL and came to Florida in 1986 from Lakeside MI. During his working years he worked for Borg Warner Corp of Chicago IL. While employed Mr. Ingersoll took a 3 year leave of absence to serve with the US Government in the Philippines. He was a World War II Navy veteran serving in both Europe and Pacific Theaters. James collected antique automobiles as a hobby. Upon retirement he enjoyed traveling, golf, skiing and spending time with his family. Survivors include wife Virginia of Largo, sons; James Ingersoll Jr. (Vivien) Belleair FL, and Robert Ingersoll (Michelle) Houston TX, daughters; Jean Smith (Steven) Lakeside MI, Courtney Deuser (Charles) Dayton OH, ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
