BARRIS, Janet S., 75, of Belleair, FL, died June 5, 2010. Jan was born in Dunkirk, NY and graduated from Syracuse University (1956), Syracuse, NY and was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. Jan retired to Naples in 1983 after years as a technical writer for IBM and CitiCorp. Her career took her from Endicott, NY to Los Gatos, CA and then to New York City. Jan moved to Belleair in 2003 where she attended Episcopal Church of the Ascension; was a member of Belleair Country Club where she enjoyed bridge and owned the Lion’s Castle, Original Treasures. Jan is survived by her husband, Robert G.; step children, Cheryl (Mark) Sugel, West Port, CT, Robert Jr., Clearwater (Feasther Sound), FL, Diane (Rick) Buttner, Miami, FL and Rachel (Warren) Bond, Round Rock, TX; sister, Judith Robson, Dunkirk, NY and 13 grandchildren.
