1934-2021
Jesse passed away on Dec. 22, 2021. He was born on July 2, 1934, in New London, CT.
After serving in the Army, Jesse settled in Falmouth, Massachusetts and patrolled as a motorcycle officer for the Falmouth Police Department. Jesse married his first love, Bernice Kay, and started a family. They moved the family to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1967. He loved cars and motorcycles and often came home with a new “surprise”. He owned and operated Largo Auto Body Shop for 25 years. He volunteered as a reserve officer for the Largo Police department and loved setting up neighborhood watch programs. He and Bernice enjoyed travelling the county in a motorhome and Harley until her death in 1997.
Jesse was fortunate to find a second love and married Betty in 2002. After retirement, he and Betty enjoyed traveling with friends, flipping houses, and playing the lottery. He continued his love of motor vehicles with an impressive collection of cars, motorcycles, and trucks.
He is survived by his wife Betty and her family, his brother, Robert (Sandy), his son Jeffrey, daughters Marilyn (Michael) Anderson, Jackie (Joe) Reinhart, and Michelle (Tracey) Hunt and 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
