

Originally from Worcester Massachusetts, Jeff served in the United States Air Force from 1964 to 1968. He held the rank of sergeant and served as a special vehicle repairman. He was awarded the Air Force good conduct medal as well as the National Defense Service medal. In the summer of 1969 he moved his family to St Petersburg and later settled in Largo. He was a certified master mechanic and worked for Firestone, Pinellas Carburetor and Compu Tune. In addition to fixing cars he would take the time to help any of the kids that came by the shop needing their bikes repaired. Jeff was always there willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He retired in 2014 as a trouble shooter for Guaranteed Carburetor.
Jeff loved the open road and visiting the National Parks. His favorite state without a doubt was Alaska. He was a loving husband and devoted father who set an outstanding example for his children. Jeff is survived by his wife of 54 years, Susan Carol Holbrook and his children, Sherry (Holbrook) Drewes, Scott David Holbrook, Barbara (Holbrook) Collins, five grandchildren; Lindsey (Drewes) Fisher, Parker Drewes, Holden Drewes, Caleb Drewes and Nikolaos Collins as well as a great granddaughter, Mia Lane Fisher. He is also survived by two sisters; Anne (Holbrook) Snyder and Sally (Holbrook) Schmitt. Last but not least he leaves behind man's best friend, his dog Chance.
He is now reunited with his mother, Elizabeth Wilson Holbrook, father John Adams Holbrook and brother John Wilson Holbrook.
A graveside service will be held a Bay Pines National Cemetery on Friday March 24, 2023 at 1:00 pm, military honors will be rendered by the United States Air Force.
