Aunt Joann will always be close and dear to my heart. I'd like to share two memories that always bring a smile to me. The first is as a little girl, I remember my Mom & Dad, Aunt Patty & Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Joann & Uncle Prinky gathered with thier friends, the music would come on, the guitars came out and there was Aunt Joann along with her sisters clapping and dancing to the music. Still now when certain country music with a "twang" comes on the radio I see Aunt Joann kicking up her heels with a big joyful smile.
 The second is of her coffee, I could smell it coming up the walkway. Once in the kitchen the sounds of the old perculator and watching it perk away I remember thinkig "there is no way I'll be able to drink that strong coffee". It was the best coffee ever! Aunt Joann said "it was the salt" she added. 
 Love to you Aunt Joann, may you rest in peace and be up there dancing with your sisters.
 To my Dear cousins I love you all, remember the happy memories that have been created over the years.

I will always remember Joann's loving spirit, she had a way of making everyone feel comfortable...especially babies. She is so loved and as she would say, "older and ornerier" even though she was only getting younger at heart and sweeter by the day. I know she is a beautiful angel in Heaven.

Memories of Joann, "Mom" to many, will live within each of us forever.  Her warmth, friendliness and love of family and friends will remain an inspiration for all of us to follow. Joann loved to read.  She could read a novel or two in a days time. And, crosswords, puzzles and board games:  She was a wiz and a winner. Her demeanor always calm and composed;never angry or upset; never a harsh word; always kind and considerate of others.  She loved her husband, her kids and family more than anything in the world.  They loved her too and so did I.

My Sister-law Joann,was a kind and loving person & devoted to her family.She would do anything for her family and friends.She will be missed terribly by everyone.May she rest in peace. Marilyn & Paul Henkel     Jessup Md

JoAnn will be missed by many, but as for me I'll miss her sweet smile and the kind words she had for everybody who knew her. Jack, Bruce, and Rhonda, we send you our condolences and wish you well.

Joann was an amazing person and will be deeply missed!  She always had a smile on her face and could have a good time no matter what.  A party won't be the same without you!
