Always was someome I looked up to ... In many ways, u are so missed JD my friend, mentor,boss. It was to early for u but the time I have known u. You have impacted my life tremendously. Rest easy bud, I'll see u soon

JD was an amazing soul with a heart of gold. He was my best friend's husband in my eyes for they lived as one. JD consoled me in a time in my life when the universe pulled the rug from underneath me and my world was devastated. He reminded me of how we define ourselves in what we choose, how we live, what we give, and how we LOVE... He shared many personal life experiences with me of his life journey and how we must evolve to be the best that we can. I shared some of my weaknesses with him which he laughed and said you have so many more strengths then you recognize. He offered to help me in so many ways and invited me into his family. I spent the last 3 1/2 years living on and off with my best friend Missy and her crew, which after everyone went to bed, JD and I had many profound conversation about life, love, freedom, and our purpose here on Earth. We were both conspiracy theorist, shared many laughs, knowledge with one another, and both thought traveling was the greatest form of FREEDOM~ JD had so much love for so many folks, causes, projects, his family, and friends. He was a positive soul with a twisted sense of humor that could make you blush. As I lived with the Roger family, I witnessed so much love between JD and Missy as to JD kissing Missy every night before they turned in and every morning before he left for work.  He would make us laugh before bedtime with his goodnights, reciting "The Waltons" famous goodnight naming all the characters, making us laugh. One thing I would like to share that JD shared with me, was an adventure his parents took him on as a child, which was a Religious Missionary experience that taught him how to be an humanitarian. JD treated all with love, kindness, respect, and would do anything to help a soul in need. I loved JD as a brother and he will forevermore be in all the souls that had the privilege to have shared time with him. JD was one of a kind & I am so grateful that my soul sister spent her life with him. Jesse I'm here4U

I can't remember how long ago I met J.D., but he and a business partner, Keith, started with our business installing beautiful water features and they did quite a few for our clients.  I can still see J.D. sitting in his 'Vette' with his sunglasses on promoting their service on that first meeting. Shortly after, J.D. started installing pavers for our customers. We could always count on creativity and high quality end results. He often looked for ways for us to help promote each other's businesses and he helped me with other 'build out' projects at our building. The years have passed and J.D. became an indispensable business associate and good friend that was always a pleasure to see.
More recently, J.D. and his incredible team completed a major new paver driveway, porch and walkways at my own home. This will be an outstanding and ongoing personal memorial to J.D.
I am glad to have known him and he will be terribly missed!

Our family the O'Connor did not know J.D. as well as others did. But on the few occasions he and our grandson Jesse paid us a visit we always enjoyed his company. We are glad we did get to share some time with he and Jesse a few years back. We will miss him very much.

I am very fortunate to have J.D as my partner in life . My love for him will never change. I miss him very second. I look forward to the day that I can be with him again.

I will always remember JD as someone who truly loved his family and who was deeply loved by his family. At times, this could be difficult to see but I was fortunate to have known JD for who he was beneath his tough exterior. My thoughts are with his family as we remember a loving father, brother, son, uncle and friend.  

I am so sorry to hear of JD's passing.  We knew him from when he transformed our courtyard here at Randolph Farm's.  He was friendly, professional  and did beautiful work.  My condolences to his family.
