HIRES, Rev. John H., Jr., 81, has won the race on October 21, 2014, now with his Lord! He was born and raised in Miami, FL. He received his B.A. (with honors) from the University of Florida (June 1955) and his Master of Divinity from Emory University's Candler School of Theology, Atlanta, GA (June 1958). He served United Methodist Churches in Georgia and Florida for 60 years. He is survived by his love Mary Lou of 62 years; children, Steven, Stuart and Shirley. John enjoyed tennis (University of Florida Varsity Team-4 years), golf and fishing.He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Anona United Methodist Church, 13233 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774.
