

Born on April 24, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, John was the beloved son of Eleanor and John Kennedy. He graduated from St. Petersburg High School, earning his diploma in 1962.
On April 26, 1968, John married the love of his life, Kathleen Lane Kennedy, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.
John had a fulfilling career in sales, working for Sears, where he was known for his dedication and kindness. Beyond his professional life, he was a man of many passions. He loved woodworking, listening to old music, enjoying pancake breakfasts and lobster dinners. Some of his happiest moments were spent at family gatherings, watching classic movies, and collecting model sailboats and cars.
John is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Kennedy; his children, John Coulton Kennedy II (Ashlie Stevens) and Victoria Ann Kennedy; his two granddaughters, Marina Kennedy and Gabriella Kennedy; and his siblings, Kathy Grosso, Mary Circle (Mike), and Roger Kennedy (Brenda). His legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to family will be carried on through them.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate John’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on February 15, 2025, at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park. Proud to serve his country, John is also recognized as a Vietnam Veteran and will receive military honors at the graveside.
John will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
