MAY, John P, 80 of Largo, FL passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at his home. John was born on October 22, 1934 in Tiffin, Ohio to the late Charles Edward & Florence Geraldine (Light) May. John has lived in the area for 40 years coming from Boystown, NB. He retired from Tack & Warren of Clearwater where he was a Shop Supervisor for 35 years. John served in the US Navy. He was a member of the VFW Post in Dunedin, enjoyed Bowling, White Water Rafting, Roller Coasters and most of all spending time with his family. John is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Joyce May of Largo along with a son Donald (Gina) Hood of Crawfordville, FL, three daughters Christine Burroughs and Rose King both of Largo and Carol Morris of Clearwater, six grandchildren Brian Hall, Diane Hood, Reagan Hood, Johnathan Burroughs, Josesphine & Christine King and three great grandchildren Dezinnay, Zackary and Miami Hall along with a brother Edward (Patricia) May of Aurora, CO. Memorial contributions may be offered to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760.
