COSTIS, Julian Alexander “Alec”, 44 of Marietta, Georgia, born in Tampa, Florida on November 20, 1969 passed away on August 21, 2014. Alec is predeceased by his parents, George and Frances Costis and a grandfather, Julian H Lifsey, Jr. Alec is survived by three brothers: Matthew, Mark and Sean (Michelle); a sister, Becky (David); grandmother, Mary Ann Lifsey McCandless; aunts and uncles, Stanford and Janni Lifsey, George and Penny Ikonomidis; Nephew, Pierce; niece Layna; as well as nine cousins. Alec worked for Lockheed Martin in Marietta, Georgia and was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. Alec was an avid golfer, admirer of planes and lover of all things Blue Angels. Alec will be deeply missed by those he knew. May he eternally fly with the Angels.
