

Leonard Joseph LeBeau was born January 10, 1916, to Edward LeBeau and Dorilda Brouillette LeBeau in Marshall, Minnesota. He lived a full life and was deeply loved by his family and friends. Lenny joined our Lord on March 5, 2011, with the love of his life and wife of 68 years, Bernadette Muller LeBeau, by his side.
Lenny graduated from the Elgin Watchmakers College in 1940 and was the owner of LeBeau Jewelers, Kentland, Indiana, for 42 years. He continued repairing watches through his 95th birthday. He was a Registered Jeweler and a member of the American Gem Society. He was also a past President of the Indiana Watchmakers Association. He was a member of the American Watch and Clockmakers Institute holding the title Certified Master Watchmaker. He was also a member of the Florida Watch and Clockmakers Association and the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.
A World War II veteran, Lenny served in the United States Army from 1941 - 1945. He was stationed in the Pacific Theater with the 113th Ordnance Company. During his time in service, Lenny was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon with Bronze Star, the American Theater Ribbon, the American Defense Service Medal, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon, the Good Conduct Ribbon, and the World War II Victory Medal.
Lenny received the Sagamore of the Wabash award from Indiana Governor Robert D. Orr in 1983. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus third and fourth degree and was also active in Rotary Club and his neighborhood Catholic Church.
Lenny is survived by his wife Bernadette, his brother Edward LeBeau, his daughter Pamela Jones (Mike), son Thomas LeBeau (Carol), daughter Margie Hobbs (John), daughter Mary Erwin (Jim), daughter Janet Godshall (David), son Richard LeBeau (Angie), and son Edward LeBeau (Karen). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. All will deeply miss the wonderfully kind, loving and gentle-hearted man they knew as husband, father, and grandfather in their lives.
Lenny was preceded in death by his parents, brother Virgil LeBeau, sister Lucille Jackson Halbur, and brother Bernard LeBeau.
Visitation is scheduled at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, Largo, FL, on Wednesday, March 9 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Gulfport, FL, at 10:00am on Thursday, March 10.
