Lora Jean (Jeanie) Riggsby completed a full life on 5/24/2016. She was born October 28, 1956 in Olney, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her father, Onnalee Mowrer and her brothers, Leon Mowrer (Diana), LeRoy Mowrer, Leo Mowrer (Louise) and Lee Mowrer (Zona).
She leaves behind her husband Olen Riggsby, her mother Helen Mowrer, her sister Lois Mowrer, stepsons Dan Riggsby (Aimée) and Jim Riggsby (Christie), grandchildren Nick Riggsby, Savannah Riggsby, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jeanie worked for HealthSouth for the past 22 years. She seemed to know everyone involved in healthcare in this area. It was rare to be out with her and not run into someone whom she knew, or whose life she had touched.
She was well known for her dedication to charitable organizations such as The American Heart Association, The American Cancer Society, SPCA, and the Rheumatoid Patient Foundation. The family request donations to one of these fine organizations in lieu of flowers.
