Maria Kepinski

Maria was born in Poland to Jan Salek and Katarzyna Olesuk and later became a proud American citizen. She cherished life and deeply loved her family and friends. Maria was an excellent seamstress, known especially for making the best pierogi, and she took great joy in tending to her beautiful roses.

She was married to Mitchel Kepinski, who preceded her in death on January 3, 1996.

Maria was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jerzy Jaworski (August 8, 2003); and her brothers, Wladyslaw Salek (1981) and Mieczyslaw Salek (2006).

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Teresa Gregoire, and son-in-law, Peter Gregoire, who cared for her in their home for the past six years as she battled dementia; their sons, Aleksander Gregoire and wife Courtney, Kristofer Gregoire and wife Nikki, Casey Gregoire and wife Kristy.; and her great-grandchildren, Alannah, Aleka, Harvey, and Willamina.

She is also survived by her son, Lee Kupidura, and his wife Cathy, their daughter Amanda and her husband and their sons, their son Jared and his wife and their children.

She is further remembered by children, spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren of her late son Jerzy Jaworski, including his daughter Christine and her husband and her sons Ryan and his wife and daughter, Patrick and Danny. Jerzys daughter Julie and her sons, and Jerzys son Stefan.

As well as nieces and nephews.

Maria’s warmth, strength, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A visitation will be held on February 16, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm at Serenity Funeral Home, located at 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774.

The funeral service will follow on the same day, February 16, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, at the same location.

A committal service will take place at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774, on February 16, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
