Mary-Beth,

You really were just the sweetest human! I was an intern to become a teacher, when I had met you. I loved how every time we spoke, you were ALWAYS so loving, proud and sweet about all your family and friends. Thanks to you, I learned how to make stickers of my fur babies (rabbits) on my phone. I remember you teaching me through texting, and we couldn't stop laughing.

Yesterday's service was a beautiful tribute to a life well lived- Mary Beth was so incredibly special to so many people.  Perhaps the most meaningful accolade was from her student- an eloquent and revealing acclamation of what a beautiful person Mary Beth was- (and a validation for teachers).  This young student- truly wise beyond years- delivering the essence of Mary Beth to a packed church.  On so many levels, it brought her life full circle.
Earl, Jack, Debbie, Rex and Family- may you find solace in knowing that Mary Beth willingly, graciously and perfectly, 'walked the walk'- she was a vessel to reflect God's love- and all of us have been truly blessed to have had her touch our hearts.

I just heard about Mary Beth’s passing a few minutes ago. This makes me so sad. What  a sweet and joyful person- she could  light up a  room by just walking into it.  My heart goes out to her family and other friends. Heaven has surely gained an angel.

It was a very beautiful celebration of life for Mary-Beth today. So thankful that I was able to make it. We all definitely have her as an angel watching over us.. 💕 Rest in Peace, MB.

My name is Lyinda Bosire from Nairobi, Kenya. I met Mary-Beth in a Bible Study Fellowship. She was always bubbly and there was no dull moments with her. I was ill and admitted for a week in mid Feb and she took her time to reach out on WhatsApp just to send me well wishes and words of encouragement. More often I would be in a group assignment with her and her hearty laugh and smile is eternaly engraved in my mind. She really had so much passion for Jesus Christ. I believe she is smiling down on us and she is seated in heaven. I will truly miss her and it's hard to believe that she is gone but we find comfort that she is with the Lord whom she loved and will see her one day. 

Mary-Beth may you rest in peace my dear. We miss you so much and if only we could have one more day with you to say a proper goodbye. We are praying for your family and hope they find comfort in the Lord Jesus that you loved so dearly.

My name is Beatrice from Kenya and I have been in Online BSF with MaryBeth since August 2024. We have been praying for her and I have been trying to locate her over the last couple of weeks until one of the ladies in the group googled her and found this sad news. 

I am so heart broken and had been really hopeful that she would recover and be back to the group soon. We trully loved her and she brightened up our sessions, cant believe she is not coming back. We remain thankful for the color she brought us although we knew her for such a short time.

Rest in peace MaryBeth with Jesus whom you loved so so much. We shall definately miss you. Till we meet again!

My prayers are with Mary-Beth’s family. I knew her through a Bible Study Fellowship  zoom meeting. She had such a sweet spirit. She truly loved the Lord. We can take comfort that she is in His Presence now.

Dear Family and friends of our sweet Marybeth,

Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Kathy Carr, and I have known Marybeth for over 30 + years, since she was a Para in the Chapter 1 Program at Pinellas Central. Our Chapter 1 team was more than a team we were family! Yes, there were cries and lots of laughing.  The first time I really got to know Marybeth was when we went down to the Chapter 1 center for some type of workshop.  At lunchtime, Marybeth and I got to know each other a little better. I asked her where she was from and she told me that she was born in Lansing, Michigan but she grew up in a little town in Georgia. I asked her where and she said it was outside of Atlanta named Sandy Springs. Well, my mouth dropped open. I said that is where my cousins are from. Well, it turned out that she knew them.  I got so hyper and knew we were going to be best friends.  I remember the time I made her birthday cake.  I knew I had to make it a diabetic cake. So, I went to Publix and got a Sweet and Low white cake but I wanted to make it look special. So I started to put a few drops of blue food coloring and a few drops of yellow. I thought this was going to make a nice shade of light green. I was wrong, it turned out to be a putrid shade of green. So, I gave it to her and she laughed. But she ate and said it was the best birthday cake ever except for the color. She never let me forget that birthday cake.  The last time I saw Marybeth was when she and Diane Dutra (another Chapter 1 family member) surprised me at lunch with another chapter 1 family member, Laurie Voelker.  Boy, was I surprised!
Marybeth was always there when I needed her. Especially, when “Mama Nancy” broke her hip the night before a hurricane.  She told me everything was going to be o.k.
 God had  my prayers when He gave me Marybeth as one of my best friends. Marybeth always prayed for me during my trials and tribulations especially when I was going to college.

Mary-Beth showed everyone that she met in her travels her love!  I will take her example and show love to all I meet❤️.  We all have a beautiful guardian angel watching over us.  You are truly missed ❤️❤️❤️

I worked with MB for 27 years as an SLD teacher, we shared the classroom. We talked every morning and afternoon. She was my spiritual guide. She invited me to Bible study with her at IRBC and we did that for the last 3 years. She had a major impact on my life and I will miss her always. I pray for her family to receive comfort because we all know she’s with Jesus now.

Mary-Beth, you were the absolute sweetest person I had ever known! You truly had a heart of gold 💛 

I met you when I was an intern at Azalea Elementary School becoming a teacher. Working beside you, inspired me to work harder. You had such great work ethic, and your passion to help kids, inspired me. 

Often, you and I would be on the phone, and you would tell me such wonderful stories about your family and friends, even if I hadn’t met them. You spoke so highly of everyone. You wanted everyone happy 😊

Earl, Mary-Beth just adored you! You are in our hearts and prayers, always. We are here for you.

Mary-Beth was truly a one-of-a-kind human, who was loving and kind-hearted and accepting of everyone she knew, people and animals alike. I am so fortunate to have worked closely with her and to have remained friends after retirement and enjoyed many Retired Eagles Luncheons together with her. Marybeth was our “Little Miss Sunshine” at Azalea Elem. She brightened everyone’s day! She was loved by her students and fellow teachers. I always enjoyed chatting and laughing with her. She was such a great listener and always had great advice about teaching and life. I will miss her dearly. I’m keeping her family and Brookie Cookie in my thoughts and prayers.

Marybeth, for years I have called you my Prayer Warrior Princess. When you prayed, I could hear and feel God speaking through you. We exchanged prayer requests weekly and sometimes daily. You prayed for so many people. I'll never forget in bible study when we were all putting in prayer requests, most of us were praying for friends and family and you requested we pray for you to have a praying heart. That impacted me so much!

I've always told my kids I want my legacy to be that I'm a Godly woman, wonderful loving wife, mom and friend and you have always been my inspiration. Even my friends and family that you never met know you has my Prayer Warrior Princess because when they asked for prayer I asked if they wanted me to share this request with my Prayer Warrior Princess Marybeth. They are all grieving you loss also. They took comfort knowing you were shouldering their prayers. I used to tell people I think you had a special phone line directly to our Lord as there were times where I'd ask you to pray for some worries I had and as you were praying, I could feel the Holy Spirit come in and release my worry.

I also loved all our silly texts and going out for some cheese grits.

Marybeth, I'm so thankful you are out of pain but I will miss you.

You will always be imprinted on my heart. I know the angels rejoiced when you entered the Gates.

PS. I hope there was a glass of Reunite waiting for you!

Marybeth was a beautiful soul. I will cherish the 40 - some years of memories, from sunny beach days, to dancing the night away in the clubs. She loved to dance! I will always remember her smile and her laugh, always finding humor in everything, never seeming sad or angry about anything. I will feel her spirit with me every day, another angel watching over me.

These are my 2 sister that are now my 2 guardian angel.  God thank you for giving me what time I had with them, that I got to love them and they got to be a part of my life. My condolences to her family!  I was blessed with her to teach three of my children at Pinellas Central and later a co worker at   Azalea Elementary!  What a wonderful soul!  Never seen her mad always smiling always had something pleasant to say!  God came down and picked another BEAUTIFUL FLOWER 🌺 from his garden!  Family thanks for sharing her with us!

I moved to Seminole Florida in the year of 1999 and met Mary Beth thru my neighbor and we immediately became friends. We both enjoyed going to eat especially at my brother's restaurant. Through Mary Beth's faith she invited me to her church. I am going to miss all the fun times we shared. If I didn't move to Florida I would not have met this wonderful friend who is now my angel. Mary-Beth was our lovely neighbor. Anytime she was leaving her house or returning, if she saw us outside, she would stop to say hello!

There are no words to express how much my family and I loved Mary-Beth, MB, as we called her. Earl and family, please accept our sincere condolences.

20 years ago to the day you went to the Lord, I will never forget that call inquiring about adopting a pup.
We miss you in ways that words can’t seem to understand.
You are the best Aunt  two our 14 beauties over these 20 years.  20 years of taking videos of pups, putting on rubber gloves, and delivering them with us, babysitting, Sunday brunch, sleepovers, movie night, chat at our lake, 20 calls daily. 
I needed you to know everything!
You had such strong faith, you were the most amazing listener, your advice was always so heartfelt. How do you find solace in knowing you are now pain-free, and knowing that you and your heart knew how much you were loved, and we knew in our hearts how much you loved us.
We sure had a crazy Love.
Your presence on this earth will be so dearly missed.

I worked with Mary-Beth for many years at Azalea Elementary. She was always upbeat and smiling and seemed to always enjoy a funny joke. Over 30 years ago I became Mary Beth and Earl's neighbor and friend.  She was a very wonderful lady who touched everybody who knew her.
After the recent storms they took me in for four days and I had some wonderful conversations with her and she never once complained about the pain she was in.
She will long be remembered as everyone's special friend because that's who she was and how she affected you.
