He was an Army Veteran of World War II in his early years and later was a chef at the Columbia Restaurant.
He was predeceased by his wife, Donna Marie Perez and seven of his siblings.
He is survived by his son, Pedro D. Perez, his wife, Kimberly L. Perez and their children, Kamille V. Perez and Kaitlyn M. Perez of Treasure Island; and son, Orlando Perez II, of Brandon, and his children, Mylena Perez-Fogle and Orlando J. Perez III and spouse, Lela Morgan Perez, and their daughter, Azalyn J. Perez, of Birmingham, AL.
He also leaves his loving companion of 20 years, Roseann Fernandez, to cherish his memory.
A Visitation will be held Sunday, February 11, at Serenity Funeral Home, Largo from 1-2 pm with a service beginning at 2 pm.
Interment will be at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park at 3pm.
