Just thinking of you on this Mother's Day.  Thanks for all the wonderful things you did for me.

I am so sorry I missed Pat's service but I was blessed to be with her at the hospital.  We had many, many good times together and I will cherish them.  I will always remember the dinners Mark, her and I had at JD's especially when ELVIS was there and she would get up and dance. There was no such thing as her walker or cane when Elvis was there! A good heart and a good soul that I will always remember. Love, Laura

I am so sorry to hear about Pat.  She was such a sweet little lady and was always kind to me when I would see her at Vista Bay. She had a style of her own and I loved her cute, stylish clothes and make-up. She will be truly missed,  My thoughts and prayers are with her family and I know she's at peace with Mark by her side now..

Here is the poem Masha Bayzie wrote and read in honor of her grandma:

My loving Grandma
When we first met
Your big warm smile lit my face-You made me feel warm inside 
Your loving hugs let me know that you cared
All the funky Christmas socks will always keep my feet and heart warm
You always showed me how to be kind to others with a big smile on my face
Those phone calls that we would have for hours 
Telling stories that always made me laugh
Our long conversations will last me a life time 
The long hours we sat at the pool 
Working on our tans 
Really showed me 
Your love 
And 
 That you were always there for me
I love you

This is the eulogy I wrote and read at our mom's funeral:

The other day as our mom was hanging up the phone, she said to me:  “You have a good, life, OK?”
Being the generous woman whom she was, she would want that for all of us here today.  So let's pledge today to have good lives in honor of a woman who herself had a good life.
Our mom was born Feb. 15, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio to Martin and Patricia Sendry.  She recently joked to me that her father had forgotten Valentine's Day that year so our grandpa said that Pat was Grandma Sendry's Valentine's gift.
She was the oldest of four daughters.  We are honored and privileged that her sisters, Trudy Castellanos, Marge Eaton and Betty Smith are with us today.
Pat married Edward Joseph Bronikowski in 1949 and together they had five children.  She recently said that she missed Dad so I like to think that they are reunited -- attending Broadway musicals as they did on their honeymoon, dancing to the sounds of big band orchestras and looking out over all of us.
She was adventurous and courageous.   Adventurous because she agreed to move to South Africa when our dad's job took him there.  And courageous that she was willing to pack up five children, including two babies, and move us all there.   It was a move that would make all the difference to us – opening our minds and hearts to a big, beautiful world.
She did that not only for her own family but for our friends.  Kevin Kriegel, a childhood friend, on hearing of mom's death wrote: 
She was a great lady. I can still see her smile and hear her laugh. I remember all of the trips she took us on, she was so independent. It seemed like on a Thursday night someone would say "Let's go here or there" and by Saturday morning the car was packed and ready to go. We left with no cell phone or GPS, I don't even know if we had a map, but we always got to some far away place for fun and adventure. From, snow skiing, surfing, fishing, swimming, and skateboarding, she supported everything we wanted to do when we were growing up. She opened my world and I will never forget her.
Our mom was also very artistic – from the time she was art director of her high school yearbook to the time she took art lessons at the Cleveland Museum of Art and later here at Vista Bay she was creative.  When we lived in Lima, Ohio, her Nativity scenes at Christmas won awards in outdoor decorating competitions.
While in Florida, she volunteered at The Learning Center where she taught children to read. She was so devoted to the center's mission that she was named volunteer of the year and countless children are better students for having met her.
Our mom loved her grandchildren who are all here today.  Denise, Bob, Masha, Olivia and Carly all have wonderful memories of their grandma. In her own way, she spoiled each of you and you are better people for having her in your life.   
Mom loved a good laugh; the music of Elvis Presley; the company of friends and family. She enjoyed entertaining during the holidays and welcoming everyone like family.  
As one of her neighbor's wrote:  “We always were amazed at how she would embrace life and keep going with the help of her taxi ride. We will miss her bright smile.” 
Mom is at peace now.  Mark and Dad were there to greet her and now it is up to us to keep her legacy alive. 
So in the words of Pat Bronikowski I say to all of you       : “You have a good life, OK?”

I want to express my sincerest condolences to the family.  Pat was a wonderful neighbor and friend. I will miss her sunny smile and warmth at all our activities here at Vista Bay.

To the Bronikowski family:
We came to Vista Bay in 1991 and the first people we met were the Bronikowskis.
Over the years we not only became good friends but we were considered part of the family ... and what a wonderful family.
Pat always made sure we were invited for Xmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, Easter and all other special occasions.
We did so many fun things with "the kids" and grandchildren.  One example: we all piled into 2 cars to see the Xmas lights. Lynn coined the word "tasteful" which was repeated many, many times over the years with a smile.
We have so many fond memories of Pat and all the family and all of you will always have a warm place in our hearts.

There aren't enough words to describe the love Bob & I and our girls had for Grandma Pat.  She was a work of art and we were so blessed to have been part of her life.

My condolences to Pat's children, grandchildren, and sisters. Even though I haven't seen Pat for many years, I still remember her beauty, her warmth and  wonderful smile. My thoughts are with you as you endure this loss so soon after losing Mark.

Dear Patti,Lynn,Tom,and Eddie, My heart is aching for your loss and ours. Aunt Pat was a wonder and will be truly missed. It is my sincerest hope that she and your dad are chilling and sharing a beer or two with F&G. Much love to you all..

 We were sad to hear of Pat's passing and believe that Mark met her with open arms and she is with him. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
 We have wonderful memories of “MA” as she was known to most of us. We always were amazed at how she would embrace life and keep going with the help of her ride, Bat's Taxi. Tom, Ed, Lynn and Patti I am sorry to here about your loss. Your mom was a great mother. I am glad I saw her her a few weeks ago when I was down there.
