Peggy Daughtry MacDonald, 89, of Largo, FL, passed away on Christmas morning, December 25, 2020. Peggy was born in Norfolk, VA, on February 12, 1931 and was the daughter of William H. and Lorraine Nimmons Daughtry.
She was a lifelong resident of Pinellas County, graduating from St. Pete High School in 1949. She was retired from Raytheon Corp in the engineering division. Peggy was a Master Gardener and volunteered at the Pinellas County Extension. She was also a tutor at Lee and Pinellas County Literacy Councils. She enjoyed gardening, bridge, and reading.
Peggy is survived by her children, Michael Chase (Rachel), Gail Markham (Doug Meurer), Catherine Kutche (Gus), and Robert Chase; her brother, Michael Daughtry (Mary C); her sister, Betty Jo Mayo; her eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
