He was born on August 7, 1942, in Ware Shoals, South Carolina, to Lillian Doris Stewart and Leo Emil Tober.
Phillip graduated from Boca Ciega High School and went on to earn an Associate degree from Pinellas Vocational Technical Institute. He built a career as a computer machinist, working with Barry Wehmiller and Tri-Tech of Florida, Inc.
On May 15, 1976, Phillip married the love of his life, Linda Lee Bivolcic. Together they built a life of fun and adventure.
Phillip had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed camping, horseback riding, golfing, and fishing. He will be remembered for the time he spent with those closest to him.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Linda Tober; his grandchildren, Tyler Bonneau and Ashley Bonneau Blaxberg; and his brother, Dennis Tober.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, Florida 33774. Visitation will begin at 10am, followed by a service at 11am.
Phillip will be laid to rest at Serenity Memorial Park and Cremation Gardens.
