

Robert "Terry" Lansing, 60, passed away after a sudden and brief illness, December 19, 2011 at Mass General Hospital, Boston, MA. Born in Toronto, Canada, he lived in Michigan and moved to Florida in 1973 with his family. He worked in the auto salvage industry for over twenty years and retired to travel with his wife. He loved all kinds of sports and was an avid NASCAR fan. He built his own race cars that he raced in Enduro at local speedways. He loved walking and riding his bike exploring his surroundings, as well as traveling to Europe and elsewhere with his wife. He loved spending time with family, most especially his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Lansing and his sister Debby Lansing. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Missy Lansing (nee Murray); his mother, Mary; siblings, Mary Jo, LuAnn, Lori, Garry and Michael (Ann); nieces, Annmarie (goddaughter), Jenna, Sarah, Maura and Megan Rose; nephews, Johnny, Patrick and Daniel; great niece, Mia. Visition will be from 10 am until 11 am, Saturday, December 31, 2011 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Largo, Florida. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 am. A graveside service will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clearwater, Florida.
