Roseann J. Chiarenza, 83, of Seminole, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 15th, 2026. Born on January 23, 1943, in Buffalo, New York, she was the beloved daughter of John Chiarenza and Anna Chiarenza.
Affectionately known as “Nana” by those who loved her, Roseann was a woman with a strong spirit and an honest heart. She was known for speaking her mind, offering warmth and kindness to anyone who crossed her path, and making people feel welcome wherever she was. Her kitchen was often the center of family gatherings, and she will be fondly remembered for making the best baked ziti – served with laughter, stories, and love.
Roseann graduated from Lafayette High School in Buffalo and carried the close-knit values of family and friendship with her throughout her life. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, sitting down with a good cup of coffee, playing cards, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Those simple moments together meant everything to her.
She is survived by her children: Lenora (Jay) Bowers, Venetta (Eric) Sarine, Richard Finn, Bobby Finn, and Colleen (Steve) Sladden. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Daniel Sarine, David Best, Courtney McFee, Leanna Sarine, Breanna Riancho, Heidi Keck, Sam Finn, Hanna Sladden, Hank Sladden, Micky Finn, Nevaeh Finn, and Kyler Finn. She will be missed by her siblings: brother, Vincent Chiarenza and sister, Aninta Chiarenza, as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be missed greatly by her beloved Rottweiler “Jamison”. She also leaves behind extended family members Krystal Speeler, Paul Dockree, Alec Dockree, Jeffery Brown, Jaylee McMullen, Ayden Libby, and many others who will dearly miss her.
Roseann was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Chiarenza, and her son, John Finn.
“Nana” will be remembered for her strength, her honesty, her generous heart, and the way she brought people together around a table. Her love for her family and the memories she created will live on in the lives of everyone who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 22, from 11:00 am to 1:00pm. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Roseann’s life and the many memories she shared with those she loved.
