Susan B Lee

Susan B. Lee passed away Thursday afternoon, May 21, 2015, in hospice care in St. Petersburg, Florida, after suffering a traumatic brain injury in February 2015. Susan grew up in Saratoga Springs, New York, daughter of Dr. Leo Boyle and his wife Margaret. Susan graduated from Immaculata College, in Philadelphia, with a degree in education in 1964. It was there that she met the love of her life, Harry Lee, of Villanova University. Susan and U.S. Marine Corps Colonel Harry E. Lee, III, traveled the world serving our country. Susan especially enjoyed the years they spent living overseas in Izmir, Turkey. Although the Lee family lived in many places, Susan always had a soft spot for Saratoga and considered it home.

Susan is survived by her daughter Jennifer Murphy and her husband Steve of Indian Shores, Florida; son, Harry (Ted) Lee, IV, of Alexandria, Virginia; and grandson Austin Weaver also of Indian Shores, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband US Marine Corps Colonel Harry E. Lee, III of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and son, Jonathan Conor Lee, also of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Services will be held Thursday at 10:00 am, May 28, 2015 at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401Indian Rocks Road, Largo, Florida 33774. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
