Wemba Esther Ellis

Ellis, Wemba Esther 87 of Seminole, FL passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at her home. Wemba was born on January 28, 1924 in Portageville, MO. The family moved to Pinellas County in 1957 coming from Florissant, MO. She was a member of the Seminole United Methodist Church, President of Womens Professional Engineer Aux. of Pinellas County, Chairwomen of the Eastern Star in Fredericktown, MO and a member of the Twin Club in St. Petersburg. Wemba was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband, William R. Ellis of Seminole, FL, a son, William Grant Ellis of Comfort, TX, two daughters, Sharon Lee (John) Spidell of Salisbury, NC and Wemba Diane (Marcus) Hyde of Bradenton, FL. Along with four grandchildren, Sondra Merrifield, Robin Bodan, Shawn Hyde and Whitney Costner and five great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be offered to the American Heart Association. Visitation is Friday, September 9, 2011 from 2 pm to 5 pm with Funeral Services at 10 am on Saturday all at the Moss Feaster Funeral Home, Largo, FL 727-562-2080.
