

Bill was born on 7/22/1927 in St. Louis, MO to Thelma & William Louis Price. Bill and Edna were married on 7/8/1961 in Niagara Falls, NY. They were happily married 54 years and enjoyed a nice 50th Anniversary party.
Bill was a 65 year member of the IBEW, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He worked as a Lineman, until he retired at the age of 76. He was a Shriner, a Mason, a member of the VFW, American Legion, Elks, Moose, and the Playboy Club. His military careers included Merchant Marine, Coast Guard, and U.S. Army.
He enjoyed playing cards, poker being one of his favorites. He liked betting on the dogs and watching the horse races. He read western books and loved to watch the old TV shows; Bonanza, Golden Girls, Walker Texas Ranger, In the Heat of the Night; and game shows, especially Wheel of Fortune with Vanna White, whom he met in person.
Bill is survived by his wife, Edna; daughters, Pamela Haynes and Denise Lundvall; son & his wife, Ron & Laura Price; 7 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cora Alcorn; and oldest son, William H. Price Jr.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled from 1-3 on 4/16/2016 at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park at 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774. All are welcome to stop by to pay your last respects and see his life through pictures, although no formal service is scheduled. Please make a donation to SunCoast Hospice, in lieu of flowers. He always ended his goodbyes with “Be Careful, There’s crazies out there!”.
