Adolph "Rudy" Padilla Amavisca, 81, of Henderson, passed away Sept. 27, 2011. He was born June 4, 1930, in Brawley, Calif., and was a seven-year resident of Nevada. Rudy served in the U.S. Army and was a retired police officer. Rudy is survived by his wife, of 13 years, Estella (nee Padilla); daughters, Clara Gardner and Grace Bosco; Son-in-Law, Walter Bosco, Son, Augustine Amavisca; grandchild, Dora Cruz; great-grandchild, Armani Cruz; sister, Elena (Ken) Lewis. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2300 Sunridge Heights Parkway in Henderson.
