

Agnes Patricia Foley, 93, a retired secretary, of Las Vegas, passed away June 2, 2011, at Prestige Assisted Living. She was born Jan. 9, 1918 in New York, and was a resident of Nevada for over 30 years. Agnes was a loving, caring wife, mother, aunt, friend and neighbor. She loved her dogs, Sparky and Patty and could be seen walking with them everyday around the neighborhood. She and Ray loved to travel and cruise ships were their favorite way to see the world. Agnes had a beautiful singing voice and loved to sing at St. Viator's Mass on Sundays. She and her friends, Mary and Rose, Lois and Earl, Joe and Helen and Patricia and Tony enjoyed the children's liturgy and then breakfast after church. Earl called her his little "sauerkraut She will be missed by all of us. Agnes was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond; son, Michael; parents; brothers, William, John and Joseph; and sisters, Catherine and Ann. Agnes is survived by her nieces, Carol Wieck and Judith Milspaugh; nephews, Thomas, Bruce, William and Harry Secor; nieces, Marjorie Brennan-Klahr and Eileen Foley; nephews, Vincent Foley and William Foley; sister-in-law, Anita Bauer; and her family and friends at Prestige Assisted Living. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 9, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be at 9 a.m. Friday, June 10, at St. Viator's (S. Eastern and E. Flamingo). Burial will be at noon Monday, June 13, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd. Donations can be made to St. Viator's Church or Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada.
