

On Saturday, March 27, 2021 our beloved father, grandfather, and husband Albert Lee Alexander was called home by Heavenly Father, where he was reunited with his dear wife, parents, and siblings who preceded him in death. At the age of 84, Albert passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.
Albert was born in California to Alma and William Alexander. He grew up in California being the youngest of four siblings. At the age of 19, he served a full time mission in Argentina and completed his missionary service being one of the first LDS missionaries in Chile. Throughout the years, Albert’s experiences as a missionary have blessed and enriched the lives of his family. As a missionary in Argentina, he met Thelma Beatriz De Rosa, who later became the love of his life. After a courtship fit for a Hollywood film, Albert and Thelma were married civilly in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Then, they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple. Albert and Thelma were blessed with three beautiful children whom they raised and cared for with the utmost love and dedication.
Albert enjoyed music and the arts. He enjoyed playing the organ and the piano. He had a long and fulfilling professional career at Bank of America, ultimately serving as the vice president for the Latin American division. He also had the opportunity to work for many years as the controller for the South America South Area for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His profession allowed him to visit and live in many different countries of South and North America. Albert was a man of deep faith, with a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and a heart full of charity. He never passed up an opportunity to serve and help those in need. He was a devoted husband, loving and nurturing father, and an unforgettable grandfather. Albert enjoyed various opportunities to serve in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Among his several callings he has served as Branch President, Bishop, Stake Counselor, and Stake President. Through his service he has uplifted and blessed all those who knew him. Albert has been true to his knowledge and testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and has exemplified throughout his life the pure love of Christ.
Albert will be dearly missed and is survived by; his three children: Vanesa (Andres) Sarazua, Albert L. Alexander Jr., and John (Melissa) Alexander. A private family viewing will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, please make charitable donations to your charity of choice.
