Alejandro (Al) Corpuz Guinsatao, 64, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024. He was born in Manila, Philippines, on October 7, 1959. Al graduated from St. Mary’s Academy and received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Nueva Vizcaya State Institute of Technology and an Associate of Computer Science from Kean University. He married Milagros (Mila) Barbadillo Gabionza on June 26, 1988.
Al worked as a Courier for Quest Diagnostics in Las Vegas, worked for ADP in New Jersey, and worked in Saudi Arabia, where he met Mila. He was a member of 2000 Hail Mary Prayer Group, and had a passion for gardening, cooking, music, singing, dancing, cycling, fishing, basketball, automobiles, sight-seeing, traveling, dogs, and his family.
Al and Mila were married in Manila, Philippines, moved to New Jersey in the late 1980s, had three children, Alyssa, Andrew, Alexis, and took in one dog, Angel. They moved their family of six to Las Vegas, NV, in 2005, and welcomed another dog, Daisy, shortly after. Lilith came into their lives in 2020.
Al brought smiles and laughter to everyone he met. He greeted everyone with a smile and would make friends easily. He was a reliable friend and easy to talk to. If someone needed help, he would go out of his way to lend a hand.
Al was a loving and caring husband and father. He would sing along with music, dance with his wife, nurture gardens of fresh vegetables and fruit, cook for his family, work on their cars, take them on summer vacations, and spend time with his children and watch them grow up.
Al is fondly remembered by his many friends and family, from USA, Canada, England, and The Philippines, who will miss him for the rest of their lives.
Al is survived by his wife, Milagros Gabionza Guinsatao, and their three children, Alyssa-May Guinsatao Matsumoto, Andrew-Gregory Gabionza Guinsatao, and Alexis-Cara Gabionza Guinsatao, his brothers and sisters, Napoleon Guinsatao, Fe Guinsatao Galicia, Margie Guinsatao Macababbad, Emy Guinsatao Galiza, his son-in-Law, Michael Ken Diza Matsumoto, and his family dog, Lilith.
