Andres Luna Solorzano

Our beloved Papa Andres was called very suddenly to be with our good Lord on the 24th day of January 2018. He was born on February 4th 1938 in Nuevo Ideal, Durango, Mexico.

He is survived by his wife of over 50 years Nati Solorzano; his children Lupe, Marina, Andy; and grandchildren Adam, Max, Christian, Julie and Faith. Also, children Quili, Tencha, Raquel, Andres; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

He worked and retired from the Sahara Hotel as a sous chef with over 30 years of service.

Andres was a very selfless and giving person to anyone that would ask. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His support of his family was tremendous, being a constant fixture at any activities that his grand kids were involved in. He loved to spend time with his wife, going for walks with their dogs, reading books and watching soccer.

He was the kind of person that would make everybody feel welcome. If you came to his house, he would greet you with open arms and instantly offer anything that would make you feel comfortable. His kind soul was one in a million and he will truly be missed.

Heaven just received a Champion! Good bye Papa thank you for everything! We love you!
