Andrew J Grasso Jr.Passed away peacefully August 25th In Las Vegas with his daughter by his side. He was born August 23,1929 in Methuen Ma. where he lived most of his life before moving to Las Vegas to be near his family. Son of the late Andrea’ J Grasso and Alfia Grasso (Scuito) who were from Sicily. He was predeceased by 7 siblings. He is survived by his devoted wife Mary D Grasso (Bolis) of 68 years, Brother Alfredo (Fredo) Grasso of Methuen Ma., Son Andrew J Grasso lll and wife Brenda Grasso, daughter Elaine Goodwin (Grasso) and husband Gary Goodwin, Grandson Andrew J Grasso lV and his wife Kacy , Grandson Jason M Grasso and his fiancée Veronica Matz, Great twin Grand daughters Andi and Addisson all of Las Vegas along with several nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Gaetano Bruno from Methien Ma. who was like a brother.

He served in the army during the Korean War where he utilized his carpentry skills doing many projects for the forces and special projects requested by officers.

Later he became a well known Builder/Developer (A &J construction) in the Boston area for over 50 years. Because of his craftsmanship and dedication he won numerous awards from the National Association of Home Builders where he once was awarded “Builder of the year.” He built many homes, office buildings including a bank and built the first privately owned Mausoleum in the state of NH which he operated for over 30 years.

Above all he loved his family and the times they spent together. He was truly a traditionalist when it came to family. He doted and was dedicated to his children and was very involved with his two grandsons whether it be homework, a school project, or making braciole with them which he always claimed “was the best”.

He will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him. Service will be private on September 7, 2021. Donations can be made in his honor to the national cancer society or as tradition, flowers may be sent to Palm Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123
