Arleen spent her early years in the Del Cerro neighborhood of San Diego, where she attended Myron B. Green School and Patrick Henry High School. She went on to study at Long Beach State and later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biopsychology from UCLA. After college, she began her career in biotechnology at Amgen and later relocated to San Francisco, where she founded and built her own biotech validation company, A & C Consulting. Arleen continued to rise to the top of her profession, ultimately merging her business and serving as Vice President of Business Development with AVS Life Sciences.
Outgoing, charismatic, and full of life, Arleen was often the heart of any gathering. She was the one who brought people together, filled rooms with laughter, and made memories feel effortless. Her infectious, unmistakable laugh could brighten any room, and her warmth made people feel instantly at ease. Yet for all of her professional success and vibrant personality, what Arleen valued most, above everything, was being a mother and being with her family.
Arleen was a devoted and loving mother to her cherished son, Caleb Coyle, age 16, who was the absolute center of her life. She and Caleb’s father, David Coyle, shared a steadfast commitment to raising their son together, always placing his well-being above all else.
Arleen is the youngest child of Cesar and Asela Candari and the family’s glimmering light. She was steady and warm, generous and compassionate, the rock her family leaned on. She had a way of making people feel supported without ever making them feel small, offering moral support, sound advice, and unwavering presence during life’s most difficult moments. Because of her, her family felt more grounded, more connected, and never alone. Her steadiness is deeply missed, and her absence is felt every day.
Most recently, Arleen made it a point to travel to Las Vegas to spend meaningful time with her mother, siblings, cousins, and extended family, sharing late-night snacks, heartfelt conversations, and quiet moments simply being together. She genuinely wanted everyone around her to be healthy and happy, and she carried herself with kindness, grace, and a calm spirit that made her deeply loved by all who knew her.
Arleen is survived by her beloved mother, Asela Candari; her son, Caleb Coyle; her brother, Roy Candari; her sisters, Marjorie Hyderkhan and Candace Candari; her nieces, Penelope, Nicolette, and Samantha; her nephews, Bruno and Max; her grand-niece, Ophelia; and many loving cousins, extended family members, and close friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Cesar Candari, who passed away three years ago.
Arleen’s impact extended far beyond her immediate family. She was profoundly loved by friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Arleen will be forever remembered for her strength, her grace, her loyalty, and her boundless heart.
