Dr. Gresen graduated from the Bronx High School of Science and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He dedicated his life to healing others as a brilliant cardiovascular thoracic surgeon, trained at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He was a captain in the Air Force. He then moved to Las Vegas in 1974, pioneered heart surgery and heart programs at local hospitals, and was recognized through multiple board certifications over 50 years and a lifetime of academic contributions with his cutting-edge techniques.
Arthur is survived by his adoring wife of 40 years, Dorinda, children, Taylor, Alison, and Solomon, and grandchildren, Esther, Asher, Axel, Noah and Remi. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Esther. Arthur was an avid outdoorsman and cherished sharing his passion for nature, family, food, wine, and fast cars with his children and loved ones.
A private service will be held to honor his life, with a celebration planned for a later date.
