Barbara Jean Ewell Meredith, 75, of Henderson, NV, passed away June 22, 2015. She was born in Cleveland, OH on April 13, 1940. Barbara graduated from Mentor High School and received her degree as a Registered Nurse from St. Luke’s School of Nursing. She married David G. Meredith on November 11, 1961. Barbara worked as a Nurse, Sales Rep, Stewardess and Travel Agent. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and had a passion for traveling, bridge, playing games, the ocean, socializing and her grand kids. She was survived by her husband, David; sons, Jeffery Allen Meredith, Thomas Patrick Meredith and Daniel Gordon Meredith; daughters, Kristine (Meredith) Bowen and Janet (Meredith) Engle; grandchildren, Cindy, Sam, Mariah, Jake, Maddie, Mark, Meredith, Doug, Brianna, Dan, Megan and Emmy. Memorial Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11 am, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Rd, Henderson, NV 89014. There will be reception to follow the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Barbara’s behalf with the American Lung Association.
