Benidetto Cafaro

Benidetto “Benny” Cafaro, 83, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, passed away May 18, 2017. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 16, 1934 to Nicholas and Lucy Cafaro. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Paula, and sister Lena. He married Myrna in Las Vegas in 1985. He is survived by his wife Myrna, sons Benjy, Troy (Shawn) Todd, and daughter Cammy, stepsons Arthur Thompson, Doug (Eva) Thompson, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and his beloved labradoodle Ashley. He worked at many casinos throughout the years but found home at The Tropicana, where he retired as a Baccarat Manager. He was a generous and loving person who helped many people throughout the course of his life. He adored the quality time and relaxation from the 14 cruises he went on with his beloved Myrna and their good friends. In his travels that included several different countries, he was most fond of Tahiti. The world is a slightly darker place without him. He will be missed dearly and always remembered. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Italian American Club, 2333 Sahara Ave Las Vegas, NV, June 17th from 2pm to 5pm. It has been a long day without my friend.
