Berta Garza of Henderson, Nevada passed away on March 23, 2023, at a precious age of 90. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on July 30, 1932, to Baldomera Urbano. Our mother was a woman of great faith and a whole lot of love.
Berta retired from St. Francis Hospital in the early 90’s. She spent many years with her spouse Romeo Garza, until his passing in 2012. She was able to travel and visit her family whether in California or even in Texas to visit her grandchildren.
Berta is survived by her son Carlos (Beatrice) Garza, her daughter Grace Garza and her son Romeo (Brian Hosier) Garza along with her two grandchildren, Andres S. Garza and Daniella B. Garza. She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse Romeo Garza, her sister Maria Rocha and her oldest son Miguel Garza.
