December 10, 1953. Her father, Isiah McMahon, was a military man
and because of this, Betty learned to call many places home, as her
father moved frequently. She had 3 siblings, Sonia McMahon, Patricia
McMahon, & Isiah McMahon.
Her step mother introduced her to Jehovah when she was a teenager
and she attended her first convention at the age of 14 years old. Over
the years Betty's life took many twists & turns but she always
maintained her positive spirit and joyful outlook in life.
At 20 years of age Betty became the mother of a beautiful baby girl,
Shaneka DonteLove Bradberry.
Her search for the truth continued and Betty was eventually baptized
on April 27, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Betty is survived by her 3 siblings Sonia McMahon, Patricia
McMahon, & Isiah McMahon, her daughter Shaneka and son-in-law
Robert and her 2 granddaughters, Rachael & Kaitlynn.
Betty will forever be remembered for her positive attitude, even in the
face of difficulties, and her self sacrificing spirit in Jehovah's service.
She could always be seen at the Kingdom Hall bringing encouragement
to the young and old alike. Her infectious smile never went unnoticed
and her zeal for the ministry was an encouragement to all who spent
time with her.
Betty has certainly left an indelible imprint on the hearts of all of those
who knew her. Her faith in Jehovah's promise of an earthly resurrection
was strong. It is with great anticipation that we wait to see her hope
in Jehovah's promises fulfilled in the fullest sense possible!
