

Bev was born a coal miner’s daughter on July 30, 1932, to Andy and Jenny Haranzo in Adena OH, where she met and married her husband Charles “Chuck” Eliopulos on Christmas Day in 1952. They remained together for 66 years until his death in 2018. Throughout their lives together, she supported her husband’s career as a physical therapist in Parkersburg WV and Sarasota FL, while raising two daughters, Pam and Tari. Her primary occupation was that of homemaker.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was an amazing mother and deeply loved her granddaughters. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband Chuck, she is survived by her sister Linda Long (Frank) of Henderson NV, her daughters Pamela Eliopulos (Matthew Padden), of Tampa, FL, and Tari Eliopulos of Henderson, NV, as well as her beloved granddaughters Chelsea Brewer of Atlanta, GA, Jessica Brewer of Venice CA, and Eleni Padden of Miami,FL She greatly loved her extended family : Steve Eliopulos (Katie), Jim Eliopulos, Maritza D’amico (Al), and her many nieces and nephews.
Per her wishes, no public service will be held. If you would like to honor Bev, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation to support BMT.
