Bruno Molinari passed away on May 14, 2025. He left us peacefully and without any suffering from the comfort of his home. The joy which characterized his life taught us to live life to the fullest, taking advantage of every minute as if it were our last.
His generosity, passion for cooking, and hospitality will live on with us forever.
Bruno was born in Brooklyn, NY, a direct descendent of Italian Immigrants. He was the eldest child, with two sisters, Carol and Anne. His father, Sabatino, owned an Italian delicatessen in the city before moving the family to the New Jersey countryside.
Bruno grew up in New Jersey throughout his formative years into adulthood.
He studied chemistry at Rutgers University.
He was always good with business and bought his first house in his 20’s and then worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 15 years. At the age of 40, he moved to Florida, forming a corporation and purchasing a motel in Fort Lauderdale.
After many years of successfully operating his business and helping his sister Carol manage her real estate investments, Bruno then retired to take care of his mother, Anna, for more than 2 decades, helping her reach 101 years of age before she passed away. They were living together during this time while he and his sister Carol provided for all of their mothers needs, demonstrating the immense love they had for her.
Finally, at the age of 74, he ventured out to Las Vegas, NV, and fully enjoyed the city's excitement. Bruno made several friends, hosted many dinners and parties offering up his delicious Italian dishes, which he always proudly mentioned were his mother’s recipes.
The most important accomplishment in this new chapter of his life, was when he took care of his sister Carol for over a decade until she passed away.
Bruno is survived by his spouse Javier Vergara Martinelli, his sister, Anne, and his beloved nephews, Robert, Jeff and Mark.
